Toyota keeps status quo

Toyota Canada has completed a review of its media buying and has decided to keep it split between Saatchi & Saatchi and Media Buying Services.

The combined assignment is estimated at $30 million.

Saatchi handles both creative and media for Toyota cars while the truck business is with mbs. Dentsu Cadence has the creative assignment.

All are Toronto agencies.

Ted Wallbridge, vice-president of sales, says the company decided not to alter its current arrangement because the outside consultant hired to do the assessment found the existing agencies were cost efficient and successful at matching the medium to the message.
