Royal Lepage picks Garneau Wurstlin Philp

After staging a quiet review, national real estate chain Royal LePage has awarded its business to Garneau Wurstlin Philp of Toronto on a project basis.

The account, estimated at around $4 million, was previously with BBDO Canada.

For the past year, the real estate company’s advertising activity had been limited to the local and community level.

Allyson Kinsley, Royal LePage marketing head, says the agency review was prompted by a restructuring of the company, both at the corporate and branch levels, over the past two years. ‘Those changes have made us rethink the positioning of the company,’ says Kinsley.

‘We’re now in the black and a force to be reckoned with in the future.’

Toronto-based Royal LePage operates a network of 120 corporate-owned and 120 franchised or associate broker branches across Canada.
