London Drugs picks Bryant Fulton & Shee

London Drugs of Richmond, b.c. has shifted its business to Vancouver-based Bryant Fulton & Shee because of a conflict of interest with a new account at Young & Rubicam, the pharmaceutical chain’s agency since late 1993.

The conflicting account is Radio Shack, which y&r picked up last month.

In addition to pharmaceuticals and traditional front-of-the-store products, London Drugs also sells items such as home electronics, photography equipment and computers at some of its 44 stores in b.c. and Alberta.

London Drugs spent more than $3 million on media advertising in 1995, according to A.C. Nielsen, but its $10 million marketing budget also goes toward issuing catalogues and 26 flyers per year.
