A new agency will be named for the $7 million-plus Ault Foods business by the end of the month.
Susan Andrews, a consultant at Ault, confirms that Toronto agencies Holmes Donin Alloul and Vickers & Benson Advertising are the two agencies being considered and that she will be joining the successful firm as head of the account team.
It had been rumored that Gary Prouk, former chairman at Lowe SMS, would be part of the package, but Andrews says that is not the case.
Andrews headed the Ault business at Lowe SMS for about five years.
She was senior vice-president, group account director when she was laid off in mid-July following Roche Macaulay & Partners’ resignation of the Ault business.
The agency had picked up the dairy’s business following a merger in June with Lowe SMS, the Canadian office of The Lowe Group, based in London, England.
