Mazda North American Operations of Irvine, Calif. has chosen W.B. Doner of Southfield, Mich. to handle all its u.s. and Canadian advertising, an account estimated at us$240 million.

Foote Cone & Belding of Chicago resigned Mazda, which it handled out of its Santa Ana, Calif. office, earlier this year following its merger with Bozell Jacobs Kenyon & Eckhardt which has Chrysler Corp. business.

Mazda Canada’s $20-million assignment will move from FCB Canada to Doner’s Canadian operation, Doner Schur Peppler of Toronto.
