Pulse Marketing and Bennet Communications, both of Halifax, n.s., have merged to form a new integrated agency that will operate as Pulse Marketing.

Pulse’s pre-merger clients included McDonald’s, Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership, Milk Maritime, MT&T Mobility, and Halifax Regional Municipality. Bennet Communications brings Nova Scotia Power, the Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union and Eastbridge Consulting/Eastech Advanced Development to the deal.The principals of the new firm are Bill Murphy, founder and senior partner of Pulse, Dave Maguire, Pulse partner since 1995, and Neale Bennet, partner and former president of Bennet Communications.
