Mark’s makes Dockers deal with Levi Strauss

Levi Strauss, the company has signed a deal with Calgary-based Mark’s Work Wearhouse that gives Mark’s the rights to open and operate stores devoted to Dockers-brand casual wear for men and women in Canada.

As many as 150 Dockers stores could be built, with the first four opening next year. Three are slated for Ontario – two in the Toronto area – and one in Calgary. Each store will be approximately 3,000 square feet.

Mark’s operates 291 stores comprising two divisions: Mark’s Work Wearhouse which has 129 stores plus 18 stores in Quebec under the L’Equipeur banner, and the Work World division, which operates 144 stores.
