Status quo at Campbell

It’s business as usual at the Campbell Soup Company in Toronto following a worldwide agency consolidation.

The two agencies that now split the more than us$300-million global ad budget, BBDO Worldwide and Young & Rubicam, were already the sole agencies handling the Canadian business.

bbdo has Red & White, Home Cookin’, Simply Home, Swanson broths, Country Ladle and Healthy Request brands in the u.s., Canada, Mexico and Australia.

y&r retains the Chunky brand in North America, soups and sauces in Europe and Asia, and adds Campbell’s soup brands in the u.k., all Pepperidge Farm brands, the beverage brands V8 and V8 Splash, as well as u.s. sauces and pasta brands Prego, Pace and Franco-American.

Saatchi & Saatchi and Foote Cone and Belding were eliminated from Campbell’s worldwide agency roster.
