Parfums Givenchy Canada in Toronto has announced the promotion of Michael Feuling to GM. Prior to joining Givenchy in 1998, Feuling worked for Ralph Lauren Fragrances where he helped to launch Polo Sport for Men and Women.

In Toronto, Adam Ashton has been appointed VP, marketing for TSN and TSN Enterprises. Prior to this promotion, Ashton acted as director of marketing for TSN.

AGENCIES

Publicis Canada, located in Toronto, announces the hire of Pamela Gilbert as SVP, brand director for the CIBC account. Prior to joining Publicis, Gilbert worked for such agencies as Ogilvy & Mather, MacLaren McCann and J. Walter Thompson.

Fourth Wall Media, a full-service interactive agency in Toronto, announces three new appointments: Raven Daley becomes senior art director, Dmitri Melamed is now lead flash animator and developer, and Kim Johnston becomes junior account manager.

E-mail marketer ThinData in Toronto announces the appointment of Wayne Carrigan as director of client strategy. Previously Carrigan worked for Alliance Atlantis as well as heading his own company, Wayne Carrigan Solutions.

Valder Belgrave has joined Quay Communications in Vancouver as customer relationship strategist. Prior to joining Quay, Belgrave acted as manager, transportation demand at Translink in Vancouver.

MEDIA

Harrison Young Pesonen & Newell Media Management (HYPN) will be renamed PHD Canada effective July 2. The president of HYPN, Fred Forster, will take over the role of president for PHD Canada. Founding partners David Harrison and Rob Young will remain, with Harrison as chairman and Young as a key management resource for strategic planning and research.

Craig Media’s TORONTO 1 has appointed an advisory board, to be chaired by Bahadur Madhani. Other members include David Crombie, Farah Nasser, Rita Tsang, Kiumars Rezvanifer, Hamlin Grange and Frank S. Avarez.

Sandra Cardoso has joined CHUM Specialty Television in Toronto as marketing manager. Cardoso previously worked at M2 Universal Communications Management as planning manager.

ASSOCIATIONS

The Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) has hired Paul Hétu as the new VP in Montreal. Prior to joining ACA, Hetu worked for Réno-Dépôt, also located in Montreal, as VP of communications and advertising.
