Boston Pizza hires Taxi as new AOR

The restaurant chain's EVP cites Taxi's 'integrated approach and proven history of creative excellence' as reasons for the win.

Boston Pizza has announced it will be retaining Taxi Canada as its creative agency of record effective March 14, 2010. The restaurant chain had previously been with Lowe Roche since 2008.

‘As Canada’s number one casual dining brand with 340 restaurants across Canada, Boston Pizza sets the bar very high for all of our agencies,’ said Steve Silverstone, EVP of marketing with Boston Pizza International, in a release. ‘Taxi’s integrated approach and proven history of creative excellence is what we need to take us to the next level.’

Zip Communication will stay on as the Quebec creative AOR, and PHD will continue as the media planning and buying agency.
