In Brief: Horizons ETF names new head of marketing

Stephanie Wolfe has been named EVP and head of marketing for Horizons ETF.

Horizons ETF Management is one of the largest suites of exchange traded funds in Canada, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mirae Asset Financial Group, which manages approximately $710 billion of assets across 13 countries globally.

Wolfe brings more than two decades of experience in product and asset management marketing to the role. She was most recently a strategic advisor for the women’s segment at BMO Private Wealth, but also spent four years at BlackRock as head of Canadian marketing. There, she was responsible for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for both BlackRock Canada and iShares, the top ETF provider in Canada.

FanDuel names senior manager, commercial strategy

Shweta Choudhury is starting a new position as senior manager, commercial strategy at FanDuel in Toronto. Prior to joining the sports betting app, she was global product marketing manager and paid strategy lead for Amazon Kids+, providing advice on strategic growth initiatives including promotion and discounting, audience propensity modelling and marketing attribution.

Before her four-year stint with Amazon, she was revenue growth and marketing analytics manager for Johnson & Johnson, setting pricing, assortment and promotional channel strategies across several of the company’s consumer-facing business units.

Investors Group adds new brand strategy and field marketing director

Francis Hurtubise is now director, mass affluent brand strategy and field marketing at IG Wealth Management. In his new role, he will focus on the Quebec and Atlantic regions.

Hurtubise is formerly the director of marketing and promotions for logistics firm Thibert.
