From brand to build, Junto brought Juno Vet to market at startup speed – delivering site and app in just a few months.
For almost a decade, Toronto’s Junto has worked behind-the-scenes partnering with brands to turn complex digital strategies into seamless customer experiences – especially when the stakes are high and timelines tight.
What makes Junto different is its fluency across brand, user experience and technology. With a small team of seasoned professionals, Junto partners closely with marketing and IT teams to bring digital strategies to life. Whether aligning with a brand team’s vision or working in lockstep with dev teams, they ensure the product experience lives up to both creative ambition and technical requirements.

Junto redesigned Onlia’s sales funnel with a user-first, test-driven approach that improved speed and clarity for customers.
“Part of our process is being highly iterative with design and prototype-driven, backed by research and discovery,” says Julia Stein, vice president brand and customer experience at Junto. Rather than waiting for a grand reveal, Junto invites clients into their design process with weekly or bi-weekly demos. “This “show, don’t tell” approach allows for rapid feedback and iteration which brings alignment and momentum to complex projects.

Junto used its integrated approach to redesign Pizza 73’s online ordering platform and mobile app.
Junto’s cross-functional mindset enables collaboration across departments, breaking down silos to accelerate execution. By aligning marketing ambition with technical delivery, Junto serves as the connective tissue that drives cohesion across the organization.
Stein explains that collaboration is especially critical on large scale projects, given the many layers of input and approvals. ”When companies invest in building something, they need to be confident it’s the right solution. Late redirects can waste time and money, so we make sure all decision-makers are on board before moving to development.”
One of Junto’s long-time clients Pizza Pizza embraces this integrated approach. Junto has managed significant projects within the chain’s digital ecosystem, including online ordering, the mobile app and Pizza 73, its West Coast brand. Most recently, they redesigned the company’s call centre interface to streamline order fulfillment and support operations.

Junto manages all digital platforms for Pizza Pizza, including web, mobile and west-coast sister brand Pizza 73.
Rather than just handing off designs, Junto stayed close throughout implementation. Their prototype-first model allowed Pizza Pizza to test, interact, and provide feedback early – ensuring the final build matched business needs and technical requirements. While the IT team led on API calls and data loading, Junto played a crucial role in guiding UX decisions, surfacing user insights, and making sure the build stayed true to spec.
“Where our process really helped was the ability to show them prototypes that they could play with,” Jason Hyde, chief experience officer explains. “That helped them think through how it would actually work for their teams on the front-line of ordering and customer support.”
Junto’s ability to flex between strategic partner and delivery team is also a major asset to startups. When the team behind Juno Vet approached Junto, they were early in their journey – with a business case and a vision. In just a few months, Junto helped them design their website and a companion app to support its network of veterinary clinics.
“Because we’ve got a senior team with tons of experience, we can move quickly,” he says. “And that bench strength enables us to fill in the gaps in knowledge for a startup because we’ve done it so many times before.”

Junto helped Juno Vet bring personalized pet care to life, building a full digital platform to support modern clinics across Toronto.
That speed and expertise are exactly what Junto brings to every project, whether it’s helping a startup find its footing or guiding an established company through a digital transformation. Junto brings the discipline of enterprise, the agility of a startup and the strategic vision to connect every piece.
“We’re a small team that’s done really big work. We come in, assess the landscape, and deliver with speed and precision,” he says, “That’s what makes us a great partner in true digital transformation.”
