Casey’s goes interactive

Casey’s Grillhouse and Beverage Co. Restaurants added an interactive component to a summer promotion at all 24 of its Ontario locations.

Casey’s used 3D restaurant and bar menus in August to promote special stir-fry menu items.

Customers were supplied with 3D glasses to read the 3D Pasta Sizzleini menus and other in-store materials.

A contest gave customers a chance to win one of three Cybermind Virtual Reality parties for 20 people, each valued at $4,000.

Cybermind installed a portable station at the three restaurant locations so partygoers could experience 3D through its computer-generated interactive video-game.

The promotion was supported by a radio campaign throughout Ontario.

The campaign came from United Business Communications of Toronto, the agency for Prime Restaurant Group, the parent company of Casey’s.

Prime Restaurant Group operates three other restaurant chains in Ontario and Quebec – East Side Mario’s, Pat and Mario’s and Lime Rickey’s.
