Leo Burnett, Toronto has been pulled from the Tropicana Canada business it has handled since 1991.
The move is the result of an agency review by parent company, Tropicana Products, of Bradenton, Fla.
The company dropped Leo Burnett, of Chicago, its agency of 10 years, after it was named worldwide agency for the Fruitopia beverage business by Coca-Cola last month.
The Fruitopia account, previously with Chiat/Day, has not yet been reassigned in Canada.
Tropicana, a division of Seagram Beverage Group, is now in discussions with other Seagram agencies Ogilvy & Mather, Grey Advertising, Lord Dentsu & Partners, Wells Rich green BDDP and tbwa.
No timetable has been set for the naming of a new agency, but Tropicana Canada will be working with the new agency or its Canadian affiliate. PS
