New name for Robins

Robins Sharpe & Associates, of Toronto, has been renamed The Sharpe/Blackmore Partnerships by parent DDB Needham Worldwide.

The new name reflects the involvement of Bill Sharpe, president and co-founder, and Managing Director Tom Blackmore, who has been with the company since 1989.

Both have an ownership stake in the agency.

Sharpe founded the agency in 1988 with Brad Robins.

It was bought by ddb in 1993.

Robins left Robins Sharpe at the beginning of the year to work in new media products.

Sharpe/Blackmore has recently added Mississauga, Ont. shopping centre Square One and financial planning company Money Concepts to a client list that includes Xerox, Sainsbury, Paarl Wines, RJR-MacDonald, Steelcase and Mr Lube. PS
