H.J. Heinz Company of Canada has added the assignment for its newly acquired pet food products to the rest of its portfolio at DDB Needham, Toronto.
Pittsburgh-based H.J. Heinz completed the acquisition of all the Canadian and u.s. pet food business of The Quaker Oats Company earlier this month.
In Canada, those brands include Kibbles `n Bits dry dog food, Pounce treats for cats, and dog treats Jerky Treats, Pup-Peroni, Canine Carry-Outs, and T-Bone biscuits.
The products had not been advertised by Quaker in Canada for years. PS
