Padulo Integrated of Toronto has been hired to roll out NBTel’s Vista 350 telephone in New Brunswick, along with the Call Mall interactive services offered by New North Media, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bruncor and Northern Telecom.
The Vista 350 and Call Mall have been tested in Moncton and are expected to launch provincially before September.
Padulo will handle strategy and creative for the rollout and work with New Media to attract new content providers to Call Mall.
Media plans have not been finalized.
The Vista 350 phone features a built-in screen that displays numbers and words, but not graphics, enabling consumers to use interactive shop-at-home services such as Call Mall.
By dialing into Call Mall, callers can choose from categories such as weather, current events, entertainment, dozens of catalogue retailers and quick ads.
