There have been a number of moves within Leo Burnett’s creative department in recent weeks, among them the rehiring of Rick Kemp who has returned to the agency after seven months at Chiat/Day.
Kemp, a senior art director, began his career at Young & Rubicam, later moving to Ogilvy & Mather and Cossette before joining Burnett in 1990.
The agency is currently looking for a writer to partner with Kemp.
In other moves, Elspeth Lynn, art director, and Lorraine Tao, writer, started at Burnett last week and have been teamed up under associate creative director Jeff Finkler.
Lynn comes from Roche Macaulay & Partners and, before that, was with MacLaren Lintas and DDB Needham.
Tao has been with Young & Rubicam, where she has won awards such as the Gold Pencil in the One Show in New York for Kodak and received attention for her work on the controversial Sports Illustrated ‘naked guys’ ad for Adidas.
Finally, Dan Zimmerman, formerly with Ogilvy & Mather, has joined Burnett. Zimmerman has been teamed with art director George Longley, whose previous partner Jim Borwick recently joined dmb&b.
