VRH Communications of Vancouver has been bought from bbdo by three vrh staff members and the principals of creative boutique Wasserman Cozens Dundon.
The partners in the firm are Alvin Wasserman, who is president, Bill Cozens and Tim Dundon, and vrh’s Gary Grafton, Doug Conn and Sharon Brodie.
Wasserman Cozens Dundon previously worked with vrh on creative for a accounts such as Chevron, Intrawest and B.C. Credit Unions.
All vrh clients remain with the firm, and will be joined by Wasserman Cozens Dundon accounts B.C. Packers, the b.c. anti-drinking and driving program, International Farm Salmon, Merit Kitchens, Vancouver Canucks and Outdoor Canada.
Wasserman Cozens Dundon was formed by the creative trio from McKim Advertising after the merger of McKim and Baker Lovick Advertising in 1992.
At the time of the merger, there were three affected agencies in Vancouver: McKim-owned McKim Advertising and vrh and Baker Lovick.
McKim and Baker Lovick merged into what is BBDO Vancouver, while vrh continued to operate separately and handle conflicting accounts. PS
