McCann-Erickson Advertising is looking to bolster its bottomline through acquisition.
Jacques Duval, area manager of McCann Canada, has approached as many as 10 independent agencies with a merger proposition.
But Duval says, so far, no deals have been struck.
Three Toronto agency principals, who asked not to be identified, confirm they have been approached by Duval.
One of the principals works at a young creative boutique, and the other two are at strong retail agencies. PS
