Two top account spots have become vacant at Young & Rubicam, Toronto.
These are in addition to the post of creative director recently made available by Rick Davis’ departure to MacLaren Lintas.
Serge Rancourt, executive vice-president and managing director of y&r, hopes to name a new creative director by early February.

Rancourt says he is looking in Canada and the u.s., and has received inquiries from other countries in the y&r network.
Four group creative directors – Leif Nielsen, Bill Martin, Charlie Bishop and Ken Boyd – are handling the duties in the interim.
Fogel to Saatchi
On the account side, Brad Fogel, vice-president, senior partner and head of the Ford business, has moved to Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Toronto as senior vice-president, management director to handle Toyota and other accounts.
Fogel joined y&r in 1992 after three years at Doner Schur Peppler on Honda, Sanyo and Gerber.
He started his agency career in 1980 at fcb in the u.s., and, in 1988 moved to FCB Canada to take charge of the Mazda account.
Dave Smith has also tendered his resignation and leaves y&r at the end of the month to join Prism Communications as director of client services.
Smith is vice-president group account director for the Toronto Ford & Mercury Dealers Association, Xerox, Cadbury, and Holiday Inn.
As well, he works in the agency’s Media Futures Group in areas such as infomercials.
He has been with y&r for the past six years, and was with Bates Canada and Procter & Gamble before that.
