Larry Anas has left McCann-Erickson Advertising to set up his own Toronto boutique, Anas & Company.
Anas, former senior vice-president, managing director and creative director of Foster Advertising, moved to McCann in May when Foster was folded into the operations of its sister company.
Anas retained his title and agreed to stay on at McCann for a four-month transitional period. Anas & Company is sharing space with Taylor & Browning Design Associates.
Taylor & Browning is filling the second floor of its building with a variety of separate creative and communications firms that will operate alone and also collaborate on projects.
Anas is pursuing new clients and has picked up several advertising projects.
Coincidentally, he has been hired to design the cover of a book on Red Foster, professional football player, hockey player, broadcaster and founder of Foster Advertising in 1944.
