Taxi’s Lee signs up with BCP

John Lee has left Taxi Advertising in Toronto to become senior vice-president, strategy at BCP Toronto.

Lee was president of now-defunct Franklin Dallas Advertising, Toronto when he joined six-month-old Taxi as vice-president and general manager in December 1992.

He was responsible for setting up and running Montreal-based Taxi’s Toronto operation.

Francois Sauve, Taxi vice-president and copywriter, says the agency has been searching for a replacement for Lee and expects to announce its decision at the end of the month.

Canadian-owned bcp has been in business for more than 30 years.

It has offices in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto and Paris, France.

bcp’s annual billings are more than $180 million. PS
