Delvinia hires two, promotes six

Toronto-based interactive design and digital marketing agency Delvinia has expanded its sales team and promoted two new VPs as it looks to grow its AskingCanadians data services and increase its profile.

Former Research Now executive Raj Manocha has been appointed the new director of sales for AskingCanadians, Delvinia’s proprietary research and data service. Prior to joining Delvinia, Manocha was senior manager of client development with Research Now, where he worked for four years. Also new to the team is Susan O’Neill, who joins the company as PR manager. Previously, O’Neill worked with event-industry publication BizBash Media in Toronto.

New VPs at the company include Amy Sullivan, who moves from senior director, customer insight to VP of customer insight and Andrew Kinnear, now named VP of customer experience following his role as director of client strategy. Expanding her VP resume at Delvinia is Julianne Smola, who moves to VP of panel experience for AskingCanadians from her previous role as VP of insight.

Other changes at the agency include the promotion of Katy Pedersen to director of operations from production manager and two new senior roles appointed in the AskingCanadians team. Chris Andaya has been named director of data collection for the division and Typhaine Le Corvec has been named acquisition manager.

The hires and internal promotions reflect both staffing needs following new business wins in 2010, and a goal to promote the agency’s capabilities and grow its AskingCanadians service, says CEO Adam Froman.

‘Our vision for the Delvinia brand has been to better articulate our focus and unique capabilities in the area of digital strategy and customer experience design,’ he says. ‘These promotions represent the alignment of our people with that vision.’
