John Labatt has expanded its presence in the communications industry with the addition of a new member of its SuperCorp Group of Companies.
Audience Communications, a corporate communications company fronted by three industry veterans, is a sister company to Videogenic, a division of The Partners’ Film Company and John Labatt.
Audience has been positioned as a strategic/creative/production company specializing in corporate videos for internal and external use.
It is offering clients a written guarantee of results and is basing its remuneration on performance.
Larry Dykun, former vice-president, strategic planning with The Communique Group, is now partner and president of the new firm.
Dykun is joined at Audience by Brian Marshall, one of the founding members of The Partners’ Film Company, as partner/executive producer, and Marty Teplitsky, previously vice-president, creative director of Communique, as partner/creative director.
Dykun and Teplitsky left Communique in July, Dykun after eight months.
He was previously national account manager at Maritz Communications, and general manager of Maple Interactive Entertainment.
Teplitsky, a 20-year veteran of the business, spent four years with Communique after eight years with the Los Angeles and Toronto offices of Foote Cone Belding.
