Len Meadwell is leaving McKim Baker Lovick/BBDO at the end of the month to join The Globe and Mail as executive vice-president marketing and corporate development.
Meadwell, executive vice-president and managing director of McKim, was executive vice-president of Eastern Canada and general manager of McKim before the merger of the agency with Baker Lovick in January 1992.
Most recently, Meadwell has been working on restructuring Comcore Direct, the agency’s direct marketing unit, after the departure of its president, Jocelyn Robert, earlier this year.
After an intensive search, Sachi Mukerji, general manager of SMW Direct, has been hired as managing director of Comcore.
The award-winning art director takes over his new post this week.
Mukerji was executive director of Grey Direct and DMB&B Direct in London, before moving to Canada.
Other changes are expected over the next few months as Comcore is made a much more integral part of McKim Baker Lovick/BBDO. PS
