Toronto-based Etac Sales has completed the review started last summer and split the bulk of its $5 million-plus advertising account between two Toronto agencies, Backer Spielvogel Bates and Padulo Integrated.
BSB has been assigned Ports International, a chain of 52 ladies’ and men’s fashion stores.
Padulo has been given responsibility for Brettons and Tabi International. There are nine Brettons department stores and 45 Tabi ladies’ wear locations.
Ports ladies’ wear had previously been handled in-house, while Salter DeGruchy of Toronto had Ports men’s, Brettons and Tabi.
Don Evans, Etac president and chief executive officer, says the Britches Classic Sport and Alfred Sung accounts have not yet been reassigned and may later be split between bsb and Padulo.
In the meantime, Salter De Gruchy will continue to handle Britches, and Sung will remain in-house while its marketing strategy is being revamped.
New campaigns will be unveiled in the second quarter of this year.
