Miller Myers Bruce DallaCosta and Speedy Muffler King have split after 18 months.
Industry sources have estimated the business to be worth about $6 million.
Dennis Bruce, executive vice-president, director of planning at the Toronto agency, says the break-up was caused by differences in philosophical, creative and operating style.
The Speedy account was previously with J. Walter Thompson and with jwt affiliate Enterprise before that.
