BWCK picks up Unicef

Unicef Ontario has chosen Toronto-based Burghardt Wolowich Crunkhorn Kibble as agency-of-record after reviewing several firms.

Media Buying Services, of Toronto, will be working with bwck.

The pro bono account had been handled for the past 15 years by Wolf Advertising.

Unicef is an international volunteer agency that has helped developing nations upgrade the health and education of children since 1946.

Mainly, bwck will promote Unicef greeting cards, which now account for more than half of the organization’s funding.

Other stationery products, games, books and gift items have been added to the year-round greeting card line.

Unicef’s major fall campaign will include public service announcements for tv, radio and print.

bwck also works with the Ontario March of Dimes, the Salvation Army in b.c., and from its Montreal office provides a campaign opposing violence against women.
