Dentsu brings on Andy Manson

Andy Manson has joined Dentsu Canada as its new VP, ECD. He replaces former Dentsu creative catalyst Glen Hunt who left the agency back in June 2010.

“We didn’t feel any pressure to replace Glen immediately because we had great senior creative representation,” says Bob Shropshire, president, Dentsu Canada. “When Andy came on board his great strategic mind, forward thinking and creative leadership ability led us to put him into the creative director role. Andy brings a great deal of experience and creative enthusiasm to this role and we are working on some great projects together.”

Manson will manage all aspects of Dentsu’s creative initiatives, leading the team in developing and executing traditional, broadcast and digital campaigns for clients including Toyota, Lexus, Sleeman and Sunnybrook. Prior to joining Dentsu, Manson worked as SVP CD at Cundari, leading campaigns for clients including BMW, Eli Lily, Telus and Credit Valley Hospital.

“I’m thrilled to be part of a great agency network like Dentsu and am working with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry,” says Manson. “Together, we’re building a dynamic and integrated creative team.”
