Naked Creative adds to its senior ranks

Toronto brand and design shop Naked Creative has added to its senior ranks, hiring a new creative director and promoting Matt McChesney to managing director.

Kelley Doris has been hired at Naked as its new CD, effective immediately. Doris, an industry veteran, was most recently CD at The Turn Lab. Prior, she was ACD with Critical Mass, where she led strategy, concept and direction for Rogers, in addition to working on Kruger and Fairmont Hotels.

Naked, which has worked with clients like The Globe & Mail, Sonnet, Friendly Stranger and Wicked Chicken, has also promoted director of client services Matt McChesney to VP and managing director. David Kenyon, who had previously spent ten years as a creative director at Naked before transitioning to director of strategy, has been promoted to VP of strategy.

The trio will be on the agency’s leadership team alongside president Peter Shier and Laura Mahon. Mahon, currently director of digital content and production, rounds out the promotions, as she will become VP of digital content and production when she returns from maternity leave in October.
