Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada has appointed two of its team members into newly-created executive roles.
Joseph Peters is now chief strategy officer at the communications shop, while Joy Jennissen has been named chief client officer, both effective immediately.
Peters, based in Ottawa, joined the agency more than three years ago when it acquired Ascentum, a public engagement firm where he was founder and partner. Jennissen, meanwhile, has held senior roles at H+K for 15 years across various business units and regions. She will also continue to lead operations for H+K’s western region as general manager for British Columbia and Saskatchewan, based in Vancouver.
“In the last few years, the market has demanded integrated communications consulting, and we’ve risen to the challenge,” Goldy Hyder, president and CEO at H+K Canada said in a press release. “But that demand is continuing to shift. Strategic planning and innovation is no longer focused to just one or two times a year, it is a continuous process. The same can be said for building strong client-centric experiences.”
