The ballots are in; Bleublancrouge has officially nominated a new president.
Bernard Asselin – formerly VP, marketing and reader sales, at the Montreal Gazette, where he was responsible for steering the paper’s transformation and innovation process – is set to take on the mantle of his new job as of Oct. 4. Before joining the Gazette, he was VP, marketing, for Bell ExpressVu.
‘I feel privileged to have the opportunity of working with such a great team at BBR as we deliver customer-driven solutions for our clients,’ said Asselin in a release. ‘I will focus on continuing to offer the optimal marketing/communications strategies for current and future partners as the agency grows.’
Asselin replaces Sébastien Fauré, who steps into the role of chairman of the board at the agency. Fauré joined Bleublancrouge in 2004.
