Just weeks into its agency review, The Toronto Star has lost a key player in the decision-making process.
Michael Crunkhorn, hired three months ago as director of communications, and the No. 1 person in charge of the agency review, has left the daily newspaper.
Victor Kruklis, director of corporate planning, has taken on the added role of interim director of communications.
The review will continue as planned under Kruklis’ stewardship with a final decision expected next month.
At press time, Crunkhorn could not be reached for comment.
