Porter and Joe Fresh launch pretty partnership

The partnership, which includes a contest and free manicures at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, is a first for Porter.

Porter Aviation Holdings Inc. and Joe Fresh have partnered up to target female customers this holiday season.

The partnership, which is the first of its kind for Porter, includes providing passengers with festive holiday colour Joe Fresh manicures at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport every day until Dec. 14 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., says Andrew Wilson, VP of sales and marketing at Porter Airlines.

A contest for a weekend getaway including a roundtrip flight to Toronto or New York, a two-night stay at a Thompson hotel and a $500 shopping trip at Loblaw clothing retailer is also included in the partnership, and will be promoted at select Joe Fresh locations across Canada until Dec. 11.

“It works for both brands because it hits the right demographic at a high-visibility, high-traffic time,” says Wilson.

Joe Fresh partnered with Diet Coke for a similar promotion last summer, driving Diet Coke Beauty Boost trucks around Vancouver and Toronto, which offered makeup touch-ups and manicures to ladies on the go.
