MDC Partners agency KBS+ Canada has promoted two, naming Annie Aubert and Nick Dean as presidents of the agency’s Montreal and Toronto offices, respectively.
Lori Senecal, chairman and CEO, says the promotions are aimed at fostering a culture of invention at the agency and creating industry firsts.
“With the appointment of two new young presidents, who are as inspired to create new kinds of ideas, as they are inspiring [to others], KBS+ is poised to bring this new culture to its clients,” said Senecal in a release. “Additionally, this approach is expected to attract and retain top talent, as too often we see millennials bypass traditional companies in favor of creating their own startups. It seems a culture of invention is very appealing to our next generation of great talent.”
Aubert started at the agency in October, previously working as executive VP until the promotion this month. Prior to coming to the agency she held positions at both client and creative shops, including Cossette and Loblaw.
Dean joined KBS+ in February 2010 as a founding member and VP of client service of BabyRobot, the digital strategy and development arm of the agency. He was promoted to the new role earlier this year and will be working with clients including Target Canada, Brother and The Keg Steakhouse & Bar.
