Home fragrance brand Air Wick has partnered with Parks Canada on a new online contest all around the great outdoors.

Through its new social media and online contest, “#MomentofCanada,” users can enter to win a VIP trip to the Canadian National Park of their choice. Secondary prizes include Parks Canada Family Discovery passes.

The contest is centred on promoting the brand’s limited edition Canadian Parks Series collection, meant to bring the scents of Jasper, Banff and Cape Breton Highlands into the home. By entering, users get a mail-in rebate to try the products. By filling out the entry form, Canadians are also pledging to take a moment and reflect on the nature found in the country.

The summer campaign is based around the insight that Canadians love spending time outdoors (especially in summer) but may not always remember how beautiful the country really is, says Rashed Ahmed, brand manager for Air Wick. With its Parks product series and the social campaign, the brand hopes to bond with Canadians by having them reconnect with nature.

Aegis Innov8 handled the media strategy and buy for digital ads driving to the contest, with Parks Canada also promoting the contest through its website.

Air Wick is part of Reckitt Benckiser Group, which also includes Lysol, Woolite, Veet and Durex, among others.
