Geometry Global North America has a new chief creative officer, bringing on Jim Carlton for the role beginning Feb. 1.
The position was left vacant last September, when Bruce Henderson left the agency.
Carlton joins the shop from Chicago agency Arc Worldwide, where he was most recently EVP, managing creative director, working on accounts including McDonald’s, Purina, United Airlines, MillerCoors, Coca-Cola and P&G. He has held various roles at Arc Worldwide for nearly 20 years.
In his new role, he will oversee the creative direction for Geometry’s offices in North America, including Toronto and Montreal in Canada. Other offices under his purview include New York, Chicago, Akron, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Minneapolis and Rogers, Arkansas.
Carlton will report directly to North American CEO Carl Hartman.
