Tam-Tam\TBWA hires new strategy leadership

Tam-Tam\TBWA has brought on new strategy leadership, hiring Guillaume Mathieu as its director of strategic planning.

Mathieu was most recently director of account services and strategy at K-72, an agency launched by Cossette parent company Vision7 last year focused on mid-sized clients in Quebec. Mathieu was leading the agency at its launch, though he shifted his focus to his account service and strategy role after handing leadership of the agency to general manager Benoît Bessette when he was hired early this year. Bessette will continue to lead K-72 with creative director Simon Beaudry, who was hired in May.

In addition to his time at K-72, Mathieu has also been on the client service team at Cossette and has client-side experience as a brand manager at Agropur. He has worked with clients including Exceldor, Mentos, Saputo, BMR, and Devimco Immobilier.

Tam-Tam\TBWA’s previous director of strategic planning, Simon Lusinchi, left the agency in the fall to join the Paris office of global strategy consultancy Capgemini.
