IKEA’s ‘Cook This Page’ picks up a Grand Clio

The Leo Burnett-led campaign adds another win following success in Cannes.


IKEA Canada and Leo Burnett Toronto have another award to add to the shelf after picking up a Grand Clio for “Cook This Page.”

The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners were announced earlier this month but the Grand Clios were handed out in New York on Thursday night.

“Cook This Page” was the sole Canadian entry among the 13 Grand Clio wins. The campaign, which won in Brand Design and also picked up Silver in Outdoor, involved special fill-in-the-blanks parchment paper designed specifically around IKEA products and food, with instructions and spots for ingredients printed onto the oven-ready paper.

Five of the other Grand Clios went to McCann New York’s “Fearless Girl” for State Street Global Advisors, which won the Titanium Grand Prix in Cannes this year. The statue of the young girl gained international notoriety after she was placed head-to-head with Wall Street’s famous bull.
