On the heels of appointing new leaders to aid its global expansion, health marketing company Klick Group has a new president of commercial solutions.
Brian Fox will lead corporate development efforts and broader initiatives to increase growth and profitability across the Klick agency.
Fox is a founding member of Google’s Healthcare Advisory Board and spent the past 18 years as senior partner for global consultancy McKinsey & Company. There, he served as global leader of the commercial and private equity practices within the life sciences sector – a role in which he worked with Klick on shared clients. His duties included supporting multiple leading pharma companies in the due diligence and integration of major acquisitions, leading strategy development, go-to-market planning and reorganization of leading medical products manufacturers and distributors, and creating the long-range strategic plan for a leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, covering all markets and functions.
He will continue to be based in New York.
According to Fox, he is going to help Klick transform the commercial model in life sciences to one that has more integrated approach to brand stewardship across the lifecycle. He also hopes to unify commercial disciplines like marketing, sales, access and patient services, which are typically planned and executed separately.
“We have worked with [Fox] for over a decade and his industry expertise, vision, and grit naturally align with our relentless drive to grow the brands that we work with and help ensure that more patients understand the treatments available to enhance their lives,” says Klick co-founder and chairman Leerom Segal.
In November, Klick appointed several senior-level global leaders to build out its regional hubs in APAC, EMEA and LATAM regions. The pharma shop also announced further locations would be opened in Argentina, Switzerland, Germany and Japan. Last fall, Klick named Ryan Olohan, formerly Google’s managing director, food, beverages and restaurants, as its EVP of media.
