Lifelong Crush has promoted a senior strategic leader and made a number of additions to its strategy, creative and production disciplines as part of its latest wave of growth.

The agency, sister to Broken Heart Love Affair, has made a number of hires in its creative discipline. Among those hires is Cam Garbutt, who has joined Lifelong Crush as senior copywriter from online educational provider Prodigy, where he wrote copy focused on gamification. He has previous copywriting experience at agencies including MRM, Anomaly and Wunderman Thompson.

Joining him is Greer Mullin, senior art director, from a similar role at Behaviour. She has experience in both broadcast and digital, working at agencies that also include The Fourth Agency and C3 Strategies, on brands including Telus, Kellog’s, Visa and Molson.

The pair provide additional creative depth at the agency, which earlier last year also added senior art director Fabio Siqueira and senior copywriter Frank Megna from Media.Monks, where they worked on major brands including Walmart and Nestlé.

Meanwhile, Lifelong Crush has made a number of key additions to its production team, building out its own in-house capabilities. These include Chris Stewart as senior video editor and motion designer, Christian Byrne as content director and editor, Immanuel Fernandez as production designer, Feyi Sodipo as digital producer and Cristian Dima and Sydney Kavanagh as integrated producers.

Finally, the agency has appointed Savannah Onofrey (right) as its strategy director. Onofrey joined Lifelong Crush in January 2022 as a strategist, and has worked on several accounts at the agency including Dairy Farmers of Ontario. Previously, she had worked as a strategist at Rethink, leading on Kraft Heinz, Metrolinx, Nescafé and The Keg. Onofrey’s promotion follows the addition of Holly Westgate to the agency’s strategy team in September from Angry Butterfly, where she had been working as a social strategist.
