Sid Lee has made six additions to its office in Montreal.
Leading the new additions is ACD Alexis Caron-Côté, who previously spent five years as a copywriter at the agency before leaving to become an ACD and later creative director at Taxi. During his previous stint with Sid Lee, Caron-Côté worked on campaigns for clients including Rona, IGA, Couche-Tard, Circle K, Canadian Tire and Amnesty International.
The other recent senior hire is new group strategy director Jean-Claude Kikongi. He was most recently director and strategy lead at Cossette, where he worked with clients including VIA Rail, General Mills, Uber and Mentos.
Back in the creative department, senior art director Nethmie Hetti has been hired to form a team with Annika Ramchandani. As both a freelancer and during stints with the likes of Cossette, LG2 and Diamond, Hetti’s work has included brands like Top Shop, American Apparel, CCM, TD Bank and Liberté.
Also joining Sid Lee are the creative team of art director Félix-Antoine Brunet and copywriter Olivier Goulet-Lafond, who have worked together for several years at Taxi, Havas and Rethink on clients include Volkswagen, Fondation Émergence, Cogeco and Le Refuge des Jeunes.
Amélie Duplessis-Tellier rounds out the hirings as content manager, joining from the digital marketing team at ELLE Magazine.
New client wins at Sid Lee this year include creative AOR duties for Hema-Quebec. On the personnel front, the agency also hired Janice Bisson as national head of production earlier this summer.
