A new campaign from the Epica Awards is marking the event’s call for entries while hammering home a key differentiator for the program: its objective and independent juries, which are comprised of industry journalists.
Epica paired with Lithuanian creative agency New! on the effort, which employs bubble wrap throughout the campaign visuals to evoke its core concept: the awards program offers creatives the chance to have their work judged outside their bubbles.
The creative execution resulted from a clear brief and “very strong USP,” explains Mindaugas Juozapavičius, creative director at the agency. “The more impartiality the better, it helps to celebrate the real gems.”
This is not the first time the awards program has touted its impartiality as a key selling point. In 2021, it highlighted how creatives have no excuses or scapegoats for their losses because of the objectivity of the competition’s journalist judges.
The campaign will run through the Epica Awards entry period, which is open now and concludes Oct. 6. Agencies will vie for recognition across a wide array of categories, including Print Craft, Illustration and Photography, as well as the new Media Grand Prix – which had its soft launch last year – and AI Craft categories.
Voting will commence from late October through November, and shortlists will be released Nov. 22. The awards ceremony will be held online on Dec. 7.
More details on the call for entries can be found on Epica’s website.
