7-Eleven makes a marketing promotion
Hannah Sandulescu (pictured above) has been promoted to senior marketing manager at 7-Eleven Canada.
Sandulescu, a two-and-a-half year veteran of the C-channel retailer, was recently its marketing manager of proprietary food and beverage. In that role, she executed a variety of marketing initiatives and omnichannel campaigns to accelerate brand awareness and perception to drive sales for 7-Eleven Canada, and sub brands including Slurpee, Big Gulp, Pizza, Taquitos and Crispy Classic Chicken.
Prior to joining the retailer, Sandulescu worked as a marketing manager for Performance Kitchen, developing and executing integrated consumer direct marketing campaigns including media and digital to drive awareness, trial and brand preference.
SFU names new med school director of marketing
Adriana Linoh is beginning a a new role as director of communications and marketing at Simon Fraser University’s School of Medicine in Surrey, BC. Linoh was most recently SFU’s senior director of marketing and brand management, and also previously worked as its director of marketing and communications for the Beedie School of Business.
Little Canada staffs up advertising team
Julia Wong is starting a new position as director of marketing at Toronto miniature tourist attraction, Little Canada.
Wong most recently worked as director of marketing and communications for Wild Women Expeditions and marketing manager for Insight Vacations.
Gezellig snaps up new head of marketing from Miele
Samantha Stock is starting a new position as head of marketing and PR at multimedia space, Gezellig Studios.
Stock recently worked as a trade and retail communications specialist for lux domestic appliance brand, Miele Canada. Before joining Miele, Stock was marketing and communications manager for the Herzig Eye Institute.
