Anomaly adds three new hires
Anomaly has made a series of summer hires, led by the agency bringing on Danielle Bablich as its group business head. Bablich joins the team after recently working as a group director for Rethink.
Daniela Arismendi is also joining Anomaly, coming to the agency from The Team Companies, where she worked as senior director of business affairs in Canada. The agency has also hired Shawn Weidman from Rethink as a copywriter.
The agency also promoted two on its accounts team in July. Emily Kinney is now an account director, after formerly working as account supervisor. Kinney handles brand work for Capital One, Corona and Mill St. Organic.
Shelby Perlinger is now account executive for the Labatt portfolio. Perlinger, a more than two-year veteran of Anomaly, was recently account coordinator.

Bubble Planet names Edery & Lord its PR AOR
Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience has named Edery & Lord Communications as its public relations agency of record. The multisensory experience, which has drawn crowds in Milan, Brussels, Denver and Los Angeles, will make its Canadian debut this week at Downsview Airport Lands in Toronto. The agency has already started implementing a media relations strategy to generate interest.
Bubble Planet will showcase a whimsical bubble-themed world, featuring the latest in VR technology, illusions, life-sized bubble ball pits, a hot air balloon flight simulator and more.
“This colourful, other-worldly destination of bubbles is designed to give people a break from the stresses of their everyday lives and to reconnect with their imagination,” says Martine Lévy, partner, Edery & Lord Communications.
