Blackjet signs deal with The Globe & Mail

Blackjet is the new agency of record for The Globe & Mail.

The move continues a 25-year legacy built on the media brand’s relationship with Naked Creative, which merged its talent with Blackjet this summer.

The staffing complement for the account win includes a group of ex-Naked Creative staff and existing Blackjet personnel.

Work is under way and the shop is currently planning to unveil it in 2025.

Sundae teams up with Montreal men’s fashion brand

Sundae Creative is now the agency of record for Canadian men’s fashion brand, Robert Barakett.

The agency – with teams in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and New York – will lead all PR, influencer relations and event activations for the Montreal apparel brand across Canada and the U.S.

Sundae tells strategy that it’s currently working on an extensive influencer marketing program that will go live starting Sept. 1. The program will be supported by Robert Barakett’s retail partners, including Nordstrom (U.S.) and Holt Renfrew (Canada), and the brand is also planning events in New York City.

Earlier in 2024, Sundae Creative struck partnerships to handle influencer marketing in both English and French for Amazon Prime Video Canada and PR and influencer marketing for home appliance maker, Miele Canada.

Rose PR partners with Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile

Rose PR has been named as the comms agency of record for lux hotel, Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile.

As part of the shop’s mandate, it will support Sofitel with media relations, influencer relations and its Renoir restaurant re-opening.

The Sherbrooke Street hotel will undergo a three-phase transformation, including its common areas and guest rooms.

LHPR teams up with Destination Silver Star

Lynn Henderson Public Relations (LHPR) is the new PR AOR for Vernon, B.C., ski resort, Destination Silver Star. As part of the remit, LHPR will aim to enhance Silver Star’s brand presence and promote its offerings to a broader audience.

LHPR has worked with Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, lux candle brand, Roam, and Whistler’s Wild Blue Restaurant and Bar.
