Andrea Cook joins newly rebranded Jam CRM

Jam Direct has become Jam CRM and appointed Interpublic Group vet Andrea Cook as CEO to oversee its U.S. and Canadian operations.

Cook lands at Jam after having left her post at IPG in June of this year. She was previously at IPG for eight years, with her most recent role as global innovation officer for McCann and North American business leader.

As for her current agency’s new name, Cook tells strategy that it was important to embrace the equity in the Jam name, and its legacy in delivering CRM solutions, while reintroducing its offering. The goal is to “demystify the complexities of CRM,” Cook says, adding that clients who do not adopt CRM technology risk falling behind as competitors leverage these insights to meet today’s engagement standards, especially with the growing prominence of AI.

The agency also has a new logo, which is a nod to the brand’s roots and referencing symbols and a design language used in developing CRM journeys. Gone is its tagline, “justify and measure,” which Cook says is more of what it does in its day-to-day practice.

Jam comprises a team of 165 specialists working across the U.S. and Canada.

“We are staffing up in our Canadian offices looking to add to roles across our teams in account service, studio/design, technology development and campaign management,” Cook says.

Jam CRM boasts a North American client roster that includes Bell, Petco, Lexus/Toyota and Toyota Financial Services. It has also worked with Sinai Health Foundation.
