Brand USA names Faulhaber as PR agency in Canada

Brand USA, the destination marketing organization which promotes travel to the U.S., has named Faulhaber as its new agency of record for public relations in Canada. Faulhaber will work with Brand USA to share stories that highlight destinations in the U.S.

The announcement comes on the heels of a competitive RFP. The mandate will be to encourage cross-border exploration through strategic media and influencer relations and in-market brand activations.

“Travel has always been a bridge between cultures and a way to create connection,” says Lexi Pathak, president and partner at Faulhaber. “Now, more than ever, it can serve as a powerful tool to strengthen the deep-rooted bond between the United States and Canada.”

According to the latest Leger figures and amid cross-border political turmoil spurred by U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff threat 48% of Canadian travellers said they are less likely to visit the U.S. in 2025 compared with last year.

Cleansheet Communications celebrates trio of wins

Cleansheet Communications has added the following clients: medical products and services provider Medline Canada, custom jeweller Platinum Arts Jewellery and indie medical evaluations company PsycIME.

The independently owned, full-service shop has worked on campaigns in the past for Wind Mobile (now Freedom), Canadian Tire, CanadaSound and, more recently, the Ontario Cannabis Store and Lune Rise Farms.

“We broke the mould of small agencies having to work with only small clients. We showed that big ideas could come from anywhere,” says Catherine Frank, president and chief strategist.

 

Milk Creative Communications adds B.C. hotel

Milk Creative Communications will be supporting Civic Hotel, a lodging facility in Surrey, B.C., that is part of the Century Group and Autograph Collection portfolio.

The team will be leading strategic social-media management to expand brand awareness and highlight the hotel’s amenities, surrounding community and local experiences.
