Dare Vancouver, which merged with social media shop RocketXL last week, has announced the addition of Cindy Son as the agency’s director of technology.
Prior to joining Dare Vancouver, Son worked on projects for media cos including the CBC, Shaw Media and Rainmaker Entertainment. In her new role, Son will be responsible for leading all digital media development for new and existing clients at the agency, including MTS, Tourism British Columbia and the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.
“Dare has a reputation for creativity, innovation and digital expertise, which marries well with my passion for cutting edge technology, so I am thrilled to have joined the agency,” said Son in a release. “I look forward to working with the creative and talented team to integrate technical expertise and new media into exciting campaigns for our clients.”
This is the latest in a line of people moves at the agency this season, with co-ECDs Bryan Collins and Rob Sweetman leaving Dare to start their own business in February.
